A living room filled with furniture and vase of flowers on a table

We have been getting snow for the past three days now.  It looks like a Winter Wonderland here in Vermont!  And it’s given me some time to decorate our sunroom for Christmas.  I am keeping all the Christmas decor super, super simple this year.

Who doesn’t love some winter white?  I ordered the white cotton pillow cover with buttons from Amazon, and I knitted the white blanket with large pom-poms for layering.

I found the other two pillow covers without buttons for just $15.00 apiece.  And I just luv the plaid super soft blanket that I picked up at the Vermont Vintage Market Days this fall from BlueBird Home DecorI feel like the plaid adds color and texture to this simple space for the holidays and throughout the winter months.

I luv the look of layered blankets!  It’s so fun to play around with them in any room and they add so much coziness to any space.

Here I added a couple of vintage turquoise patina candlesticks that I found at a vintage shop a couple of years ago.

I also added some vintage glass door knobs that I found on eBay to an antique dish of my mother’s and filled a white porcelain pitcher with cut evergreens from the yard for Christmas decor.

I really luv easy home DIY projects.  And these dried orange ornaments were so simple, and fit my theme of simple Christmas decor perfectly!  And I am absolutely in luv with the burnt orange coloring!
