This past summer, we had some work done on our front porch here at our home in Vermont. I have been so excited to shop, collect, and thrift to create this vintage ski lodge porch look for the holidays and beyond.

Let’s Start with Some Christmas Snow
About an inch of snow fell last night, adding this beautiful blanket of white Christmas snow around our vintage ski lodge porch.
Everything always looks so much better covered in snow!
Doesn’t it?
A large branch of greens rests just under our large Vermont maple tree, ready to be cut today for some more evergreen holiday arrangements.

I will use old thrifted crates, baskets, and collected ironstone pieces for these arrangements. You may also enjoy the Summer into Fall: Limelight Hydrangeas, An Old Crate & Fresh Blooms post.

Vintage Ski Lodge Porch Christmas Tree
Our neighbor lost the top of one of their very large evergreen trees and gave it to us to display on this year’s vintage ski lodge porch for the holidays and beyond.
I like it simply leaning up against the house with no lights or anything!
It feels so much like the rustic country Christmas you would see in a storybook or in a movie like this.
Ski Lodge Vintage Snowshoes
Vintage snowshoes are just quintessential New England!
And I just adore the pair that I found out “Thrifting with the Gals,” this week at the Stone House Antique Center in Chester, Vermont.
See and read all about these vintage and thrifted snowshoes here.
And you’re going to love these Blue and White Chinoiserie Pots with Evergreens, too!

Vintage Ski Boots
A collection of vintage ski boots with some evergreens serves as a centerpiece on this old thrifted wallpaper table on our vintage ski lodge porch.
Accompanied by a welcoming bistro chalkboard with a chalked Christmas tree drawing created by my husband.
Happy Holidays!

After a long, cold winter day outside, it’s always so nice warming up with a cozy ski lodge fireplace, too.
Oh, and today, the vintage ski boots found a new home on the ski lodge porch as I fill these Blue and White Chinoiserie Pots with Evergreens for the wallpaper table.
I’m so glad you dropped by, and if you are new to my blog, welcome! I hope you enjoyed your visit with us here today at our Home in Vermont.
